Preparation is underway for "The Accident." It is scheduled for
production in mid July.
Rough drafts for two other shorts, "Angle" and "The Gun" are also
done. Final drafts should be done within a month or two and be
ready for production shortly after.
Hmoob Film is also developing a feature focusing on the
difficulties of keeping Hmong culture alive in America. More

December 2007
On December 30th, 2007, Rusty Casselton passed away. Mr.
Casselton was the director of Film Studies at Minnesota State
University Moorhead where Kak Lee, founder of Hmoob Film,
graduated. He was a great mentor, professor and father. There is
no question that anyone who ever met Rusty will miss him dearly.
This is a big loss, not just to his family but the whole film
community around the world.
